Global Warming may adversely affect Bangladesh

Experts on climate say that Bangladesh may be adversely affected with global warming. They say that if global temperature goes up by two degree Celsius, nearly fifteen percent of the coastal region in Bangladesh will go under water.

The fear has been expressed in a joint news conference of Bangladesh Unnayan Parishad and Orthiniti Samity

The President of the Orthiniti Samity said that if the temperature rises substantially nearly 750 sq kilometer land will be submerged under water and nearly 20 million people will be uprooted. However , if the temperature goes up further other parts of the country will be affected in a similar way.
