Outgoing US Ambassador Patricia Butenis says her country is neutral about the political process in Bangladesh and they have no hidden agenda here.
On a state-run BTV program, she said “political parties must be allowed a role in the current process of political and electoral reform”.
Butenis departs Dhaka on Saturday to take up her new assignment in the US mission in Iraq.
