Jagannath Bose, a retired station Director of Kolkata Doordarshan (TV) and a rtenowned personality in the field of stage and TV plays in the Indian state of West Bengal, was in USA recently.
Bose started with radio drama while he was a drama producer but later on he proved his talents in TV and movies too not only in acting but also in the field of direction. In this exclusive interview with VOA Bangla service , he speaks about the present situation of radio and stage dramas in Kolkata.
Recently he had been to USA to perfprm in North America Bengali Conference , generally known as Banga Sammelan . During his visit he performed in a few other states , including in greater Washington.
