Science, technology and ocean development minister of India Kapil Sibal arrived in Kolkata to sound the first warning to the Left and launch a counter campaign against the CPI (M).
The CPI (M) is putting pressure on the UPA government not to implement the 123 Agreement. Sibal explained to the Pradesh Congress leadership that the nuclear agreement was not "military" in nature as is being propagated by the Left.
His message was loud and clear: the Congress will not scrap the nuclear agreement under any kind of pressure.
