In India, the UPA and the Left have agreed to meet again on October 22 to discuss the US India nuclear deal and to reach a compromise.
The Left agreed to continue discussions over the nuclear deal, after an assurance that there would be no formal talks with the IAEA before discussions in the Left-UPA committee are over.
External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said the members “shared in detail their perceptions on various aspects of the cooperation agreement.” IAEA chief El Baradei will nbe visiting India soon.
