Dhaka University Resumed its classes after an unscheduled break for 67 days. During late June protests were held in Dhaka University and elsewhere in the country resulting in the closure of all higher educational institutions.
In this interview with VOA Bangla service, Professor Arefin Siddique talks about the latest situation at Dhaka University. He urges the government to release University teachers including three faculty Deans, and students arrested allegedly for breaking the Emergency Rules in Bangladesh.
