West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee addressed the meeting, on the concluding day of the four-day 8th national conference of the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA).
He said that women’s organizations have a pivotal role in initiating women into the development process and to ensure their right to live with dignity.
He also said that he has asked Central government’s help to curb rising prices of essentials in West Bengal.
