An earthquake with its epicenter near the Bangladesh-India border and measuring six in the Richter scale jolted the south-eastern region of Bangladesh Wednesday afternoon.
People living in the area were panic stricken.Ten people were injured. Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Khagrachhari, Feni, Noakhali and Comilla were the districts where the quake was strongest in the country. It was also felt in the capital.
