Abul Bashar Khan is running for Seabrook Board of Selectmen (the Board that governs the town), Seabrook in New Hampshire. It is a non-partisan position.

Mr. Khan currently serves as a member of the Seabrook Planning Board. His 2 year term ends this year. He was elected in the Budget Committee on 2007.

Seabrook is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 7,979 at the 2000 census. Located at the southern end of the coast of New Hampshire on the border with Massachusetts, Seabrook is noted as the location of the Seabrook Nuclear Power Station, the last nuclear power plant constructed in the United States.

The function of the Board of Selectmen consists of calling town meeting, calling elections, appointing employees, setting certain fees, overseeing certain volunteer and appointed bodies, and creating basic regulations.
