Gorkha Janamukti Morcha-sponsored indefinite economic blockade began in three sub-divisions of Darjeeling Hills on Sunday.
Movement of vehicles, carrying various commodities, was stopped and the heritage toy train came to a halt as the blockade began. The GJM also demands dismissal of Subhash Ghising from the post of sole administrator of the caretaker Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council.
