Chief Adviser of Bangladesh caretaker government Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed urged people to elect honest and dedicated candidates in next local government and general elections in the country for further strengthening the base of democracy.
He said, "You elect such a person, who will serve you and will always remain beside people." Dr Fakhruddin made the comment at a meeting where he exchanged views with local elite and government officials at the local stadium. People from different parts of the district attended the meeting.
