Pakistani Journalist believes Situation getting out of Hand in Pakistan

Anwar Iqbal is the Washington correspondent of the Dawn newspaper. In this brief interview Mr Iqbal says that the terrorist attacks on Pakistan has shaken the government and is a challenge to the stabilization of the country.

He says that a survey says that the government of Pakistan only controls about 23% of its territory.

He says that the terrorists are essentially fighting against the US, so in his opinion US government should give a room to Pakistan to negotiate with the terrorists instead of going for military action.

Iqbal thinks that if Pakistan is not allowed to interact with the terrorists , the things may get out of hand.
