Advisor for Trade and Commerce Affairs in the military backed interim government in Bangladesh , Hussain Zillur Rahman said on Saturday that the government in Bangladesh is determined to hold general elections on December 18 as announced in the schedule of the elections .
The Advisor said that after overcoming several impediments, all is set for election.
He also hinted at completely withdrawing emergency if the situation prove congenial to holding elections. Referring to demands put forward by BNP , one of the major political parties in Bangladesh which has still not committed itself to participating in elections, Hussain Zillur said that specific complains should be made about the lack of level playing field only then the government can take actions to correct itself.
