Bhutan has offered Bangladesh an opportunity of importing surplus electricity from their country.
The Bhutanese ambassador in Dhaka Tshering Dorji made the offer to Commerce Minister Faruk Khan. Mr. Khan said Bangladesh will sign trade agreement with Bhutan within May.
Commerce Minister Faruk Khan said that there is an ample scope for enhancing trade between the two countries. Ambassador Dorji invited Bangladesh to participate in the next SAARC trade fair in Bhutan.
