Dr. Azizur Rahman Khan, a Bangladeshi-American world renowned economist now lives in New York.
In an interview with Voice of America's Bangla Service, Dr. Khan spoke about President Obama's rescue plan of 787 billion dollars and the negative comments made by some Repulican politicians, especially some of the governors.
Mr. Khan also opines that the present crisis is kind of unique to the US as it was triggered from the struggling US housing sector.
