Meghla Islam lost a friend during BDR mutiny.
Many high officials were brutally killed during last week’s mutiny. Lieutenant Colonel Enayetul Huq was among them. Mr. Huq left behind a wife and two teenage daughters and other loved ones. Lieutenant Colonel Huq was Meghla’s childhood friend and classmate.
In an interview with Voice of America, Ms. Meghla Islam spoke about the deceased. She reminisced about Lieutenant Colonel Huq and expressed dismay about such killing. She demanded quick investigation and punishment for the killers.
