There was a Conspiracy to push Bangladesh to a Civil War :  PM Hasina


Sheikh Hasina , the Prime Minister of Bangladesh reiterated her condemnation of the brutal killings last week in the premises of the para-military forces of Bangladesh . Sheikh Hasina added that she thinks there was a bigger conspiracy to push Bangladesh to a Civil War through the so-called revolt in BDR. She added that she tried her best to save the lives of as many army officers as possible , although many life she could not save.

Addressing a discussion meeting on the histor March 7 at the Engineers Institute auditorium to observe the historical March 7 Sheikh Hasina said that her government would ensure the exemplary punishment of the killers and masterminds of the BDR mutiny.

She also said that the incident took place at the time when the government has taken a move to try the killers of Bangabandhu, four national leader and the war criminals and when names of many big wigs involved with the 10 truck arms smuggling, 21 August grenade attack have been coming out through fresh investigations

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today urged the opposition leader Khaleda Zia to disclose the information, if she has any, on the Pilkhana carnage to the investigation committee.

She said that she was earnestly requesting Khaleda Zia ] to divulge all the information that she has to the probe committee so that a fair investigation is carried out into the incident of BDR mutiny in order to identify the real perpetrators of this heinous crime.

The AL chief also urged all to remain patient so that no more killings take place in the country.

In her speech she paid tribute to the founding father of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and recalled how his speech on this day in 1971 had inspired the Bengali to liberate their land from occupation forces.
