Dr. Tasneem Siddiqui, Founder member of Refugee and Migratory Movements (RMRU), Dhaka University in an interview with Voice of America, spoke about Remittance Recession world- over, due to global economic crisis.
But she said - "despite decline in world remittances, Bangladesh situation is favorable as Bangladeshi migrant workers in the Middle East and Malaysia - Singapore, elsewhere, are still sending money to their families at the same rate as last year".
