Kamrul Islam , the State Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs said that the trial for the War Crimes of 1971 in Bangladesh will begin soon.
At the first phase cases will be filed against 25 people. They would include Matiur Rahman Nizami , the Chief of Jamaat –e-Islami, Ali Ahsan Mujahidi, the Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami and another leader of the same party Delwar Hossain Saidi.
He said that there should not be any doubts about the objectivity of the trial. People have been expecting to see this trial held soon . He also assured that steps have been taken to bring home the War Criminals from abroad and those inside Bangladesh will not be allowed to live the country.
