Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud is currently the Professor of Economics at Dhaka University. He is also the President of Bangladesh Economic Association, a post he has held since 1996, and the Chairman of the PKSF, a premier institution in Bangladesh for funding microcredit programs of the NGOs.
In an interview with Voice of America, Dr. Wahiduddin Mahmud speaks about the worldwide current economic crisis and how it impacted Bangladesh.
He also spoke about the progress Bangladesh has made. Dr. Mahmud also spoke about Bangladesh and India’s relationship.
