Dr. Zillur Rahman Khan, Rosebush Professor Emeritus - University of Wisconsin, USA and an eminent political scientist, in an interview with Voice of America spoke about the legacy of late senator Edward Kennedy.
He also spoke about Kennedy’s support for President Obama when he was a Presidential candidate.
In 1971, Dr. Khan worked to lobby the US Congress to gain support for the Bangladesh liberation war. He remembers with gratitude how Mr. Kennedy helped the cause.
Dr. Khan says Kennedy will be remembered as one of the top lawmakers in US history.
