Bangladesh Permanent Representative to UN Momen  talks about Vision Twenty-Twenty


Dr. Abdul Momen has recently joined as the new Permanent Representative and Ambassador to the United Nations. Dr. Momen was currently the chairman of the Business Administration and Economics Department at the Framingham State College, Massachusetts. Before that, he has a long history of teaching at Merrimack College, the Salem State College, the Northeastern University, the University of Massachusetts, Cambridge College and the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and MIT. He also worked at the World Bank during 1981-83.

In an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service talks about the Vision Twenty -Twenty of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and vows to fulfill it.

In this interview he talks about some of the problems facing Bangladesh and expressed his commitments to solve those. He also mentioned about the territorial waters of Bangladesh and which might end up in the UN soon. He said that the issue of the territorial waters in Bangladesh as well as of the climactic change needs to be discussed in Bangladesh.
