In today’s interview, prominent economist .Debapriya Bhattacharyya talks about the achievements and economic measures taken by recently deceased former Bangladeshi finance minister M Saifur Rahman.
Saifur Rahman introduced number of economic measures including tax enhancing VAT system as well as introduced the country into the global free economic order.
He died in a tragic car accident while traveling from his village home in Moulvibazar, Sylhet to capital Dhaka last week.
