Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina spent a very busy day in New York on Wednesday.She joined the Annual Session of the UN General Assembly where amongst other President Barack Obama delivered his speech.
This was the first UN speech by Mr Obama. While writing this report around in the afternoon, on Wednesday , Sheikh Hasina and the leaders of nine other countries will meet President Barack Obama. Bangladesh and these nine countries have effectively contributed to UN Peace Keeping Force .
On Tuesday evening the leaders of twentyfive countries , including Sheikh Hasina , held a meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki Moon and later attended a dinner hosted by UN Secretary General. The leaders discussed climate change and to look for its solution in the upcoming Copenhagen summit.
