The Gorkha Janamukti Morcha, GJM, which supported the BJP in parliamentary polls, has shifted its support to Congress-TMC alliance.
BJP lost the elections and so the party cannot help GJM realize its Gorkhaland dream. Its support to the alliance will possibly help the alliance candidates win not only by-elections on Saturday, but also 2011 assembly polls.
