President Obama in his speech has certainly clarified the background of this conflict which initiated with an attack on US by the terrorists causing more three thousand lives. He also addressed the volatile situation in Pakistan, saying that success in Afghanistan is "inextricably linked" to the U.S. partnership with Pakistan.
