Turkish President Abdullah Gul ended his visit to Bangladesh and gave the assurance that Turkey will provide support for power generation, transport, information and communication technology (ICT), roads infrastructure and other development sectors of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met with Turkish President Abdullah Gul. During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to different bilateral issues including expansion of trade and business between the two countries and increasing Turkish investment in Bangladesh for the benefit of the two peoples.
President Abdullah Gul also addressed a breakfast meeting with the local businessmen and said that time has come to strengthen cooperation between Turkey and Bangladesh in trade and investment and tap potentials of undertaking joint ventures in a third country.
