On this day in 1971, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman declared, ''Ebarer Sangram Amader Muktir Sangram, Ebarer Sangram Swadhinatar Sangram".
People participated in different events and seminars throughout the nation.
Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina urged all democracy loving people to come forward for building a hunger and poverty free Bangladesh being inspired with the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
