On Sunday there was a clash between BDR and BSF at Jaintapur border in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Border Security Force of India and Bangladesh Rifles traded gunshots at the border. They exchanged gun fire for three hours.
At least 12 persons from Bangladesh were injured and taken to hospital.
Locals said more than a thousand gunshots were traded during the battle that forced many villagers to flee home to safer places.
The incidents took place only three days after the directors general of two forces met in New Delhi.
