Awami League general secretary
and LGRD minister Syed Ashraful Islam has said that his party will not tolerate
muscle-flexing, extortion and tender bungling in the name of student politics.
About the ideologies being pursued by the
party, he said Awami League never indulge in the politics of clashes and
violence.
Severely criticizing Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) for the violent
activities, the Awami League general secretary said that the party would not
tolerate muscle-flexing, extortion and tender manipulation in the name of
student politics. "None would be spared if found involved in such
activities," he cautioned.
Syed Ashraf said the new generation was extending extensive support to the grand alliance on the issue of the trial of the war criminals and for this reason, Awami League was attaching utmost importance to induct them as new members of the party to sharpen the spirit of the Liberation War.
