West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said that the Left Front government in West Bengal plans to reserve 10 per cent of government jobs for economically backward sections of Muslim community as part of its 'policy decision.'
Presently, the state has 7 per cent reservation in government jobs for the Other Backward Classes (OBCs). He said that only the socially and economically disadvantaged Muslims would be eligible for the reservation.
