In an exclusive interview with VOA, Abdul Hamid, Speaker of the Parliament of Bangladesh speaks about the 4-member parliamentary delegation to the UN that he is leading.
Speaker Abdul Hamid met with the UN Secretary General and the heads of several agencies and branches of the UN including ECOSOC, UNDP, and UNFPA. They discussed the achievements of Bangladesh towards meeting the UN Millenium Development goals.
They also met with the members of the group called Global Non-Resident Bangladeshis and exchanged views with them.
