Bangladesh has been elected from the Asian group as a member of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) executive board for three years. Bangladesh will work as a member of the guiding group in the management of worldwide activities run by United National Development Program from 2011 to 2013.
On Wednesday, this announcement was made after an election of the UNDP executive board at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Bangladesh will hold the seat for three years and be involved in the policy making decisions for the U.N. body, the announcement said. Bangladesh will now play a crucial in identifying and solving the problems of developing countries.
