Secretary General of APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) Bangladesh and Member Secretary of Anti-Poverty Campaign National Committee Shishir Sheel recently visited USA.
Mr. Sheel was in New York and Washington as a member of Bangladesh Parliamentary Group led by the Speaker of BD Parliament. He spoke about the group’s meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, meetings on various UN programs on Climate Change and ECOSOC.
He also spoke about Bangladesh politics, situation in the parliament etcetera.APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group)- Bangladesh is a semi-formal Legislator's Forum formed to hear the voices and concerns of the poor and marginalized groups of the society and to oversee the existing policies and practices.
