Bangladesh India Joint River Commission’s ministerial level meeting that was scheduled for the 17th of this month has been postponed. Bangladesh water resources minister Mr. Hafizuddin Ahmed said to VOA that Bangladesh was hopeful about the new government in India because of some earlier talks, but they have now indicated they cannot come.
