VOA Bangla Service interviewed Professor Benjamin Barber on Libya situation. He expressed his views about Bush Administration's engagement with Libya, about Moammar Ghadafi's son Saif, a graduate from London School of Economics, who was like the public face of human rights reforms in Libya and possibility of democratic changes in that country.
Professor Benjamin Barber is a distinguished senior fellow at Demos and Walt Whitman Professor of Political Science Emeritus, Rutgers University. He is an internationally renowned scholar and political theorist and a Member of Ghadafi Foundation.
He has received a knighthood from the French Government (2001), the Berlin Prize of the American Academy in Berlin (2001), the John Dewey Award (2003).
