Torkel Patterson, the outgoing US Deputy Secretary of State said that although Bangladesh is a country of immense possibilities and potentialities, political killings in the country is very sad and regrettable. Mr Patterson, on the eve of his leaving office in an exclusive interview to VOA Bangla service , said that the killing of SAMS Kibria, the former finance minister of Bangladesh ,is deplorable .He ,however, asked the opposition to shun the politics of hartal.
